International cooperation of Ukraine in the hydrogen sector

International cooperation in the hydrogen sector is an important aspect of Ukraine’s efforts to develop hydrogen energy and technologies.

Key directions of Ukraine’s international cooperation in this field include:

  1. Partnership with the European Union: Ukraine actively collaborates with the European Union in the field of hydrogen energy. Ukraine has become a member of the European Green Deal and the Clean Hydrogen Alliance initiatives, which promote joint projects, exchange of experience, and the development of standards.
  2. Participation in international initiatives: Ukraine participates in various international initiatives in the hydrogen energy sector. For example, Ukraine is a co-founder of the International Hydrogen Council, which brings together stakeholders from business, science, and government to promote the adoption of hydrogen energy.
  3. International projects and cooperation: Ukraine actively engages in international projects and cooperates with other countries in the field of hydrogen energy. For instance, Ukraine collaborates with Germany in a project focused on developing hydrogen infrastructure and green hydrogen production.
  4. Technological exchange and scientific cooperation: Ukraine collaborates with research institutions and companies from other countries in the field of hydrogen energy. This includes technology exchange, joint research projects, and the development of hydrogen technologies.
